Today we introduce to you Julia Weigsteen, the rotary foundation Director
Q1: How did you become part of the Rotarian family?
A: Through my dad, he suggested I attend a meeting. I am addicted ever since.
Q2: Tell us about your first experience with Rotaract Global Model United Nations!
A: RGMUN 2015 in Belgrad was my first event. Mina, who I met at the EUCO in Bucharest invited me. I represented Russia in the EcoSoc. Most of all I enjoyed the exchange with young people from all over the world. It was a blast!
Q3: What is your reason for volunteering?
A: I am fortunate enough to have grown up and to live in a country where I have nothing missing. That is not self-evident. Therefore it is important to me to make my contribution to making the world a little better.
Q4: What impact does Rotary or Rotaract have on you?
A: Rotaract changed my life. It took me to places I never dreamed of. Moreover, it taught me that who dares the unknown will be rewarded in the end. I am rewarded with terrific friends an unforgettable experiences.
